“Guns of Brooklyn (Doc and Jon Hill Dub)” by Diplo & Santogold
I don’t normally stand for people playing with the Clash, especially London Calling-era Clash, but Guns of Brixton has always been my least favourite song from that album. Plus, Diplo’s work with M.I.A. is about as close to capturing the spirit of that album as anyone has ever come, AND this is less a cover and more the sort of dub experiment the Clash themselves would have taken part in (see Sandinista) that this is more than acceptable.
